There is wider awareness that the 'endocannabinoid system' is the largest neurotransmitter system in the human body, regulating relaxation, eating, sleeping, memory, and...even our immune system. -Allan Badiner

About Cannabidiol (CBD) In Our CBD Hemp Oil Products
If you have found yourself asking, “What is CBD?”, look no further. Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of at least 85 cannabinoids found in cannabis and industrial hemp. It is a major constituent of the plant, and represents up to 40% in its extracts. It is the decarboxylated form of CBDa (the ‘a’ means acid). Compared with THC, cannabidiol is considered to have a broader scope of medical applications than THC. Cannabidiol has displayed sedative effects in animal tests. Other research indicates that CBD increases alertness.
The CBD found in our CBD gum and RSHO CBD Oil is extracted via an advanced process from high CBD industrial hemp.

The National Council of State Legislatures (NCSL) yesterday passed a resolution guiding our federal government to alter the Controlled Substances Act (CSA), and to restrict themselves from meddling with state laws allowing for the legal production and use of cannabis. The NCSL is a bipartisan NGO (or non-governmental organization) established in 1975 to bring together the members of state legislature’s from around the United States. The NCSL strives to improve the effectiveness of state legislatures, promote innovative policy and communication among state legislatures, and to magnify their voice in the federal system. The NCSL resolves “[S]tates and localities should be able to set whatever marijuana and hemp policies work best to improve the public...

Once upon a time, a certain federal agency was vehemently opposed to finding ANY benefit from cannabis. Today, this agency wants more research. Director of the National Institute of Drug Abuse, Nora Volkow, recently wrote an opinion article on the Huffington Post demonstrating her support for continued research with cannabis, focusing on the highly therapeutic compound known as CBD, or cannabidiol. “There is reason to believe (CBD) may have a range of uses in medicine, including in the treatment of seizures and other neurological disorders,” Volkow says. “In the impassioned, often emotional debates these days over medical marijuana, CBD is often cited as one of the main reasons restrictions on marijuana should be loosened.”...

Making your own CBD infused edibles can be a very rewarding project. As most of us know, the search for anything that is great tasting can be frustrating at best. And that is for non-medicated foods! Multiply that times 100, and you have the exact difficulty level to find great tasting, ready made edibles from your local dispensary or website. Things are compounded even further for those of us who have food allergies, intolerances, dietary restrictions, or simply have a picky eater to deal with. For some, anything with gluten could mean a very painful experience. For others, nuts or eggs could be a serious issue. Others may prefer caramel over chocolate. So who...

Hidden deep within the NY Times, an article that should have been front page news was placed. News like this, when it affects millions, if not tens of millions, of people should be easily found. Earlier this month, the FDA issued a Drug Safety Communication that strengthens it’s position that Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NDSAIDs) have been shown to INCREASE the risk of a heart attack and/or stroke. Until this warning, only prescription NSAIDs were required to print on their labels the warning of the increased risk in strokes and heart attacks. Moving forward, OTC products will be required to include this warning. If you are taking NSAIDs and are experiencing symptoms like chest pain,...

We have received a lot of inquiries from folks who have been taking a look at, or have already been using, Miracle Smoke CBD Vape oils. I don’t feel like this is potent enough…” Rest assured, we here at CBDGum.NetworkofHemp.com are always looking to bring to you the best in CBD Hemp Oil products, and being able to weed out (pun intended) the products that we feel are either not safe, are marketed deceptively, or do not fit our theme that hemp CBD products should be geared towards being clean and effective....

Over the past week or so, there has been some very concerning letters sent to some companies involved with selling CBD rich hemp oil products online. Those letters were sourced from a regulatory body that governs what can and cannot be said when it comes to making claims about potential or perceived health benefits of consuming foods, drugs, or supplements. That formidable bureaucracy has three letters, and it spells the FDA. The FDA was created out of the Bureau of Chemistry in 1927 as the Food, Drug, and Insecticide Administration, and it’s name shortened in 1930 to the Food and Drug Administration. This is the organization that is responsible for honesty and safety in...

Hemp can be used in many industries, to create parts of even the largest items. Plastics made from hemp are currently used in the building and automotive industries, but wider use could occur. Plastic has been all over the news in recent years – with discarded plastic causing problems for wildlife and the rise of single-use plastic bags, cities and counties are moving to ban the use of plastic bags in grocery stores and other businesses. What if there’s another material that can take some of the plastic that is currently in use out of the public’s use? There is. It’s called hemp. The Benefits of Hemp Plastic Many hemp advocates are reporting that...

A historic moment has occurred in a land known for it’s immense beauty and the Amazon earlier this month. Brazil’s equivalent to the FDA, Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária (ANVISA) has removed cannabidiol, CBD, the nonpsychoactive component to cannabis, from their list of banned substances, marking the beginning of important changes going on in the world regarding cannabis’ standing as a potential treatment in epilepsy, amongst many other health issues. We Ship Hemp CBD To Brazil “A classification [that] was inadequate has been corrected. It sends a signal to search for society, for patients, for doctors, that that substance, it can not be considered a substance as harmful and without therapeutic effects as previously thought,...

Here are six possible reasons why hemp is gaining in popularity here in the US. American farmers are eager to grow industrial hemp—and they have good reason to be. The characteristics of this plant make it environmentally-friendly and potentially very lucrative for farmers – despite the prohibition on growing hemp in the United States for reasons other than research. Here are some of the reasons why hemp is growing in popularity… Growing hemp rejuvenates the soil. Unlike most crops, there’s no reason to have a fallow period (or recovery time) between crops when you’re growing hemp. This is because hemp actually puts nutrients into the soil instead of taking them out. Hemp requires less...
